Since 2015, Omar has actively worked in Life Sciences recruitment in the Tokyo market. Beginning his career with a leading global recruitment agency, he quickly developed a vast network of bilingual candidates as well as long-lasting relationships with leading Key Opinion Leaders in Japan and APAC. 

As his career progressed, Omar focused on senior and executive positions for global pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He has successfully placed candidates into positions such as APAC Vice President, Japan President, and Business Unit Head. 

Omar is passionate about working with candidates to achieve their career goals through close consultation, active marketing, and expedient communication. He is committed to close partnerships with industry-leading global companies in order to drive competition, boost innovation, and increase market share. 

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign, Omar worked for Senator John Kerry then an advocacy group in Washington, D.C. before relocating to Japan in 2013.
